About the Role:

Tiny Toes Daycare LLC is looking for a passionate and experienced Preschool Director to lead our growing early childhood education program in Redding, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to shape young minds, inspire a dedicated team, and create a nurturing environment where children thrive every day.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the preschool facility, ensuring a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment

Recruit, hire, train, and supervise teaching staff and support personnel

Develop and implement age-appropriate early childhood curricula aligned with developmental best practices

Maintain licensing requirements and ensure compliance with state and local childcare regulations

Build and maintain strong relationships with families through open communication and family engagement initiatives

Manage program budgets, enrollment, and administrative functions

Conduct staff evaluations, mentorship, and ongoing professional development

Monitor child progress and ensure individualized support for all learners

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a preschool or childcare leadership role

Knowledge of California Title 22 childcare licensing regulations

Current or ability to obtain a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Warm, patient, and child-centered approach to education and management
