Overview

Kingswood OB/GYN, part of the UWH of Michigan network, is seeking a Full-Time (30-40 hours per week) experienced WHNP to join its practice in Bloomfield Township, MI. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly respected group that has been serving the community for more than 30 years. Practice is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for women at every stage of life. Kingswood OB/GYN emphasizes a personalized, relationship-driven approach-caring for patients from adolescence through their reproductive years and into menopause and beyond. Position will be M-F, clinic only, seeing OB and GYN patients. Candidate must possess prior experience working as a WHNP in OBGYN for consideration.


Position Highlights:

• Join two well-established OBGYN physicians

• In-office minor surgical procedures
• Clinic only, M-F (Option for Part-Time)
• Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments, and record patient health history
• Prescribe medications, therapies; order/perform and interpret diagnostic testing and procedures
• Provide pre and post-natal care, family planning services, and patient education and counseling

Requirements:

• National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
• Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
• CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
• Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
• Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
• Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
• One year of full-time experience as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner is required.
