Litigation Paralegal

Job Description Job Description ** Position Overview: ** We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Paralegal to support our attorneys in all phases of litigation. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple deadlines, and has hands-on experience with discovery, court filings, and subpoenas. Candidate may also be asked to assist with transactional, non-litigation legal matters as well. ** Key Responsibilities: ** · Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, from case inception through trial · Draft, review, and respond to discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission · Prepare and file legal documents in federal and state courts (including e- filing) · Prepare, issue, and track subpoenas, including coordination of service and compliance · Manage case files, documents, and evidence in an organized and efficient manner · Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures · Conduct legal and factual research · Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders · Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel as needed ** Qualifications: ** · Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience required · Minimum 3+ years of litigation experience preferred · Experience responding to discovery · Experience filing in federal and state courts · Experience preparing and managing subpoenas · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently · Proficiency with legal software and e- filing systems; familiarity with Smokeball preferred but not required ** Benefits: ** · Health insurance after 60 days · Dental coverage after 60 days · 401(k) retirement plan after 60 days · Paid time off · Compensation $35-$42/Hr depending on experience Company Description Anders Legal is a boutique law firm dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality legal services.
