ROLE SUMMARY

In addition to regular Host responsibilities, the Lead Host will assist with reservations and attend to all inquiries via telephone, email, and in person. The ideal candidate possesses a guest first attitude, strong commitment to service, and excellent communication skills. We ask for a willingness to receive and offer direction, be solutions oriented, and encourage a hospitality-driven environment. Open availability is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet and escort guests to tables in a gracious and professional manner. Interact with guests and fellow staff members in a polite, courteous, and hospitable manner to ensure all guests have an exemplary dining experience. Greet and acknowledge VIPs in a professional manner. Ensure that all reservations are recorded following established procedures with full and clear information. Have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the operation of the business, including all food and drink menus, to ensure that you can respond to customer inquiries. Maintain a proactive approach to solving any guest’s questions or problems. Direct guest to the appropriate waiting area and provide up-to-date status updates. Bid farewell to guests, using their name, and encouraging them to return to the restaurant. Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment. Assist in supervising food servers, bussers, and food runners as it relates to the guest contact and table information. Communicate with Management regarding special orders, cake orders, special requests, and VIP requests. Act as a brand ambassador for the company. Ensure compliance of all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, and Health Department. Assist with LPD requests. Liaise with clients and customers to coordinate corporate events. Liaise with all departments to ensure the best service is provided to our customers. Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 1 year experience managing reservations. Must have experience with Microsoft Suite. Must be 21+ years of age. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast‑paced environment. Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy with excellent time‑management skills. Must have high energy, great communication skills, and be able to work as part of a team. Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30 lbs.
