Associate Director, Corporate Development

Shape Ford's strategic investment and partnership activity globally, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances Evaluate and execute strategic investments and partnerships aligned with Ford's broader strategy Lead cross-functional teams and project management activities Lead due diligence with target executive teams, outside advisors, and internal subject matter experts Oversee detailed financial models and transaction valuation analyses Contribute to negotiation of transaction terms and legal documentation Create memorandums and presentations for senior management, C-level executives, and Ford's Board of Directors Maintain relationships with macroeconomic advisers, management consultants, accounting firms, and investment banks Enhance Corporate Development information sources, knowledge repositories, and processes Develop and maintain industry and competitive knowledge Apply shareholder value analysis to decisions and post-acquisition integration, including cost and revenue synergy monitoring Build risk management capabilities and incorporate what-if, scenario, and contingency planning Contribute to team member development and collaboration with skill teams and business units Requirements Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 5-7+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory Services, strategic management consulting and/or Corporate Development activities 5-7+ years of experience exhibiting exceptional financial analytical skills Master’s in Business Administration degree preferred Preference for automotive/technology experience during career Exposure to multiple companies and business models Experience in a multi-national corporate setting preferred Experience working on cross-functional and multi-department enterprise-wide projects Ability to operate independently under pressure with attention to detail Experience leading teams Ability to delegate effectively, manage performance, and develop others Legally authorized to work in the United States Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in strategic investment evaluation, partnership development, and financial analysis within a corporate development context.
