In this role, you will provide essential technical support, maintain systems, and help ensure the reliability and security of our organization’s technology infrastructure. NKHS is a Designated Agency contracted with the State of Vermont to provide the highest quality of service in the areas of adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, children and youth with serious emotional disabilities, and adults with mental health and substance use challenges.We serve the populations of Caledonia, Essex, and Orleans counties through a wide variety of targeted programs for individuals of all ages. NKHS has over 500 employees providing case management, community and home supports, residential care, psychiatry, medication management, therapy, vocational supports, school-based services, emergency care, and respite services. Visit us at NKHS.org.ResponsibilitiesAs an IT Associate I, you will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting the organization’s technical infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:Provide technical support and problem resolution to end users across multiple sitesRespond to and assist staff with Help Desk requests in a timely mannerPerform equipment moves, repairs, additions, and changes including end user devices and network equipmentInstall and configure PC hardware and softwareCollaborate with the IT team to create and update operational proceduresAssist in maintaining and enhancing technical infrastructure including LAN/WAN networks, Windows servers, operating systems, Exchange, and workstationsTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure reliable network performanceKey Skills and AbilitiesStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining secure, reliable systemsQualificationsHigh school diploma required.
