Description - What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct standard and advanced clinical tests-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure laboratory instruments receive regular maintenance and calibration.
• Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for necessary testing.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, assist in training new staff and students, and contribute to upholding laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation prerequisites.

Education

• Hold a bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health education, with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
