As a Armed Security Officer - Elite Part Time Patrol in San Antonio, TX , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post orders, and/or supporting emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter zones.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, and report concerns to site contacts, local authorities, and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Support access control, employee and visitor interactions, and after-hours security-related checks to help maintain order and help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas only.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
