PMX Industries is seeking skilled Industrial Mechanics to join our maintenance team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Work-Life Balance
- 12-hour rotating night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Alternating 36- and 48-hour workweeks
- Work approximately half the year
- Overtime opportunities available
Paid Time Off

What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
- Work with hydraulic systems, welding, fabrication, rigging, and material handling equipment
- Assemble and disassemble machinery
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment
Qualifications
Required
- Industrial maintenance experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screen
Preferred
- Trade school training
- Military mechanical experience
- Machine shop experience
- Welding experience or certifications
- Forklift experience
