• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use histories, formulating comprehensive treatment plans that align with best practices.

• Provide individualized psychotherapy sessions utilizing a range of therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored specifically to the needs of each patient.

• Maintain meticulous clinical records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practice standards.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a coordinated approach to treatment for all clients and to foster an environment of shared knowledge and teamwork.

• Educate clients and their families on available mental health resources, promoting a broader understanding of substance abuse challenges and recovery options.

You will be working with a diverse group of clients who are struggling with substance use disorders, many of whom also face accompanying mental health challenges. This client population may include adolescents, adults, and seniors, each presenting unique backgrounds and recovery needs. Your ability to tailor interventions to meet varying patient needs will be critical in assisting them on their recovery journey.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Massachusetts is mandatory.

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience focused specifically on substance abuse therapy is essential.

• Proficiency in solution-based interventions is preferred, alongside strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

While at least one year of direct clinical experience is required, additional experience in a substance abuse treatment setting or familiarity with dual diagnosis practices will greatly enhance your ability to meet the varied needs of our patient population. We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
