Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery

Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center has an opportunity available for a Physician Assistant to join the Neurosurgery team. The position will provide a mix of patient care including coverage in the outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and OR first assist for a variety of neurosurgery cases and the potential to see consults at Penn State Health Hampden Medical. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a job with autonomy but with a very supportive APP team. Prior neurosurgical experience is helpful but not required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of employment
• National Certification in State of employment or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in the State of employment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
