Forklift Operator

Job TitleJob Overview:Pay Range: $14.50hr - $19.50hrRequirement/Must Have:1+ years of forklift experience.1+ years of warehouse experience.Prior forklift certification is preferred.Ability to count accurately when moving inventory.Ability to read scales.Ability to multi-task and detailed oriented.Being alert and aware when driving the forklift in a safe manner.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work in tighter, confined spaces with a forklift.Pass a background check and other pre-employment screenings.Have reliable transportation to the site and be able to arrive at the work site as instructed.Maintain enthusiasm, good attitude, honesty and a willingness to treat all with respect.Over the ankle steel toe or composite toe boots are required.Responsibilities:Professional, accident-free operation of the forklift, and the precise keeping of the forklift inspections.Systematic maintenance and cleaning of the forklift.Continuous tracking of the location of goods during material handling using WMS.Use the WMSystem accordingly and ensure accurate data entry.Perform any other manual job at the direction of the warehouse supervisor or team lead (e.g. sampling, inventory, cleaning).Keep the warehouse clean and tidy.During the seed delivery and return season: ensure proper (loading and unloading) of transport vehicles with quality packages to meet customer expectations.Maintain safety standards - initiate & follow emergency procedures when necessary.Operates fork lift to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in warehouse area.Follows regulatory requirements.May use technology (PCs, scanners, etc.) to complete job tasks.Skills:Forklift Operation.Warehouse Management System (WMS).Inventory Tracking.Safety Standards.Data Entry.Qualification And Education:Prior forklift certification preferred.May require certification.Physical Requirements(Due to nature of job, The candidate must have):Ability to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials.Ability to work in tighter, confined spaces with a forklift.
