Registered Nurse - Night Shift (3x12-Hour)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts: 3x12 hours (20:00 - 08:30), every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience for a night shift position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing patient caseloads, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will be required to float within the specialty and may need to assist in lower acuity care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and manage patient assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and document changes in a timely manner using Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in health education for patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Active RN license in Maryland or compact state required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Certification in CPI and NIHSS required.
• Experience with a patient ratio of 4-5 is preferred.
