Join Our Team! We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Automotive Dealership Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations of our growing automotive dealership. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting dealership management with financial analysis and strategic planning. Responsibilities Oversee all dealership accounting functions, including: General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Payroll Vehicle Inventory Accounting Deal Posting and Funding Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports. Ensure timely and accurate submission of manufacturer financial statements. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes. Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Oversee audits, tax filings, and banking relationships. Develop and enforce accounting policies and internal controls. Supervise and mentor accounting office personnel. Work closely with department managers to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Qualifications Minimum 3–5 years of automotive dealership accounting experience required. Previous Controller or Assistant Controller experience preferred. Strong understanding of dealership accounting practices and financial reporting. Experience with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, or similar). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities. Strong leadership and communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
