Night shifts, 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30); every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in a general emergency department setting. The nurse will work in a combined adult and pediatric emergency department and will be responsible for assessing patients, providing treatments, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments and triage.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Perform emergency interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide holistic patient care.
• Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and hospital protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active PA or compact nursing license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, MAB, and PALS are required.
• TNCC certification is preferred.
• Experience with isolation precautions and triage is necessary.
• Trauma Center experience is preferred.
