Travel Surgical Technologist

American Traveler seeks an OR Scrub Tech with at least 2 years of hospital scrubbing experience for a busy, small hospital operating room. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience scrubbing cases in a hospital setting BLS certification required Ability to independently scrub General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology procedures Hawaii state license required by start of assignment; license required if applicable Responsibilities Hospital operating room setting running 1-2 rooms simultaneously, including 1-2 outpatient GI labs Facility operates from 0645-2315 with variable shift scheduling based on department needs Scheduled for 40 hours a week, with possible reduction to 32 hours during holiday weeks Call coverage required 24/7, with call assigned to all staff on average 1-2 times a week plus up to 2 weekends a month, with a 20-minute call back time Assist with turnover cleaning and patient transport as needed Orientation on day shift for up to one week or at manager's discretion Scrubs are provided by the facility Must complete a minimum of 39 shifts during the contract if requesting time off All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to start of assignment, with appointments scheduled through Hilo Employee Health Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr
