Summary Curana Health is seeking an outgoing, organized, and relationship-focused Community Engagement Manager to serve as our trusted presence within a designated group of senior living communities. You will build lasting relationships with community staff, residents, and families while helping them understand and access Curana’s on-site care services.This is not a clinical role or a traditional new business sales position. The focus will be on the growth of existing communities. You will be the connector who listens, educates, follows through, and makes it easier for community partners to work with Curana’s clinical team. Success comes from being visible, dependable, and responsive. What Curana Health Brings to Communities- Curana Health delivers value-based, on-site care designed to help residents receive care where they live. Services may include primary care, secondary or backup care, care coordination, and behavioral health in select markets. Our model emphasizes prevention, early intervention, continuity, and responsive provider access. Location: Field-based role; ideally located near Alexandria, Virginia, or a neighboring community. Travel: Frequent day travel (4 to 5 days per week on average) throughout Virginia, into Maryland and D.C. and nearby territory. Mileage reimbursement and a company credit card are provided for approved business expenses. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Maintain a consistent in-person presence across assigned senior living communities and build trusted relationships with Executive Directors, Sales Directors, Health & Wellness leaders, nursing teams, and front-line staff. Act as the community liaison between facility stakeholders and Curana’s clinical, operations, partner success, and business development teams. Attend resident and family events, community meetings, educational sessions, and move-in touchpoints to explain Curana’s care model in clear, approachable language. Support resident awareness and enrollment growth by identifying appropriate engagement opportunities while always respecting resident and family choice. Listen for operational and service concerns, route issues to the appropriate partner, and follow through until the loop is closed. Share dashboards and relevant community information, identify opportunities, and report field observations to Clinical Operations and Partner Success leaders. Log visits, maintain current community contact information, document follow-ups, and track field activity in the appropriate systems. Coordinate and participate in community and Curana educational or social events. Travel to building sites three to five days per week, with occasional evening or weekend events as business needs require. Qualifications Associate degree or college diploma. Experience working with senior living communities strongly preferred; experience in home health or hospice environments is especially relevant. An outgoing, positive professional who enjoys building relationships and interacting with a wide range of people. Strong organization, communication, follow-through, and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain healthcare services in plain language and respond professionally to community questions and concerns. Comfort using Microsoft Office and learning systems used for relationship management, reporting, and field activity tracking. Ability and willingness to travel frequently throughout the assigned territory. Flexibility to support occasional evening and weekend events. Passion for helping older adults, families, and community partners have a better care experience. What Success Looks Like: Community partners know you, trust you, and view you as a reliable resource. Visits and follow-ups are timely, consistent, and well documented. Residents, families, and staff understand Curana’s services and how to access the clinical team. Concerns are surfaced early, routed appropriately, and followed through to resolution. Your consistent presence helps strengthen community engagement, partner retention, and responsible enrollment growth. Work Schedule and Environment: This role generally follows core business hours with flexibility. The Community Engagement Manager is expected to spend approximately three to four days per week at community sites and must be available for occasional evening and weekend events.
