Substitute Secretary

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Highly proficient in word processing and data management using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
- Proficient in Educational Management Information System (EMIS), Special Education Management software and District's current Student Information System
- Ability to manage budgets and federal grants
- Ability to manage and update department information on the internet/web site
- Accurate record-keeping and filing
- Familiarity with voice-mail and e-mail procedures
- Operation of standard office machines
- Strong written (grammar, spelling and punctuation) and verbal communication skills
- Adheres to strict confidentiality standards
- Ability to work cooperatively and respectfully with staff, students, parents and the public
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently and meet objectives with minimal supervision
- Demonstrates reliability, timeliness and good attendance
