Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker, where you'll operate double wide forklifts and 2/3/4 stage lifts. You will be responsible for loading and unloading freight trucks and rail cars filled with beer, wine, soft drinks, spirits, and more. Based at the Swan Island location, you will move palletized loads around the warehouse primarily using sit-down electric forklifts. Additionally, you will utilize RF scanning systems to manage inventory with scannable barcodes on floors and placards.

Responsibilities

• Operate double wide forklifts and 2/3/4 stage lifts efficiently.
• Load and unload freight trucks and rail cars with various beverages.
• Move palletized full pallet loads around the warehouse using sit-down electric forklifts.
• Utilize RF scanning systems for inventory management.
• Ensure accurate order picking, shipping, and receiving processes.
• Handle materials and manage stockrooms effectively.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in forklift operation and material handling.
• Experience with inventory management and RF scanning systems.
• 1+ year experience in a distribution facility, specifically with forklifts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with storage solutions and order picking.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and reach trucks.
• Experience in shipping and receiving processes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
