Job Title: Group Facilitator
Employment Type: Fee-for-Service
Scheduled Hours: Tuesdays, 6pm-8pm
Program/Location: Explore Enfield, Enfield, CT
About the Program: Explore Enfield
Manualized 26-week program for adult men convicted of a domestic violence offense. Focuses on educating offenders on the impact of violence in various relationships and utilizing skills to manage stress and emotions in a more productive way.
About the Position: Group Facilitator
Duties & Responsibilities
- Attends trainings as assigned and required.
- Delivers educational program in a group format.
- Provides case formulation related to client's treatment readiness or developmental level and problem identification.
- Uses supervision/consultation to learn and provide more effective treatment services.
- Must attend supervision as assigned for program.
- Maintains documentation in compliance with agency and program standards.
- Participates in staff meetings, supervision, trainings and other meetings as assigned.
- Additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree required. Masters preferred.
Experience: Experience with content area: eg. Substance abuse, domestic violence. Experience with groups or education setting.
Training: Training in content area of group.
