Job Opportunity – Physical Therapist, Acute Care – Lubbock, TX 79410

Start Date: June 15, 2026

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 17:00), 40 hours per week. No weekends, no call, no floating between units required.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment at a 379-bed Short Term Acute Care hospital with Level II Trauma Center designation
• Reduced orientation period of 8 hours (non-billable) versus standard 40-hour orientation
• Work with diverse patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• One-on-one patient ratios for focused, quality care delivery

• Interdisciplinary support with collaborative physical therapy team environment

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience required
• Active Compact PT license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• BLS certification current and valid
• Epic charting system experience required
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must not reside within 50-mile local radius of the facility
• Experience with orthopedics, neurology, post-operative rehabilitation, gait training, and discharge planning strongly preferred
