A 40-bed rehabilitation hospital is seeking a skilled pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis. This position offers an opportunity to provide direct pharmaceutical care in a dynamic hospital setting, supporting both patients and clinical staff.

Location: Meridian, ID
Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shifts
Duration: 13 weeks+ with an ASAP start
Technology: Experience with Cerner is preferred

Key responsibilities include:

• Order verification to ensure accuracy and safety of medication orders
• Supervising pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and oversight
• Consulting with nurses and physicians on medication therapies and patient care
• Managing pharmacokinetic assessments to optimize drug dosages and treatment outcomes

Ideal candidates will possess:

• An active Idaho pharmacist license or the ability to obtain one quickly
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience, familiar with inpatient workflows
• Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills
• Proficiency or willingness to learn Cerner pharmacy systems
