Position Description: Pantry Coordinator at ONT Field will perform event driven serving of food and beverages prepared for ONT Field suites and catering locations. The Pantry Coordinator will work in conjunction with the Kitchen staff and will be responsible for the operations of the Food Pantry. This position includes carrying out Food Pantry appointments, receiving and tracking food orders, maintaining a food inventory system, and data entry. Essential Functions: Ensure all food orders are fulfilled fully and received from kitchen without discrepancy or shortages. Responsible for the completion of opening and closing duties assigned by the Concessions, Suites and Catering Manager or Supervisor. Maintain organization by rotating shelf-stable product and/or breaking down packaging for the cleanliness of pantry area, and, checking for expirations etc. alongside staff Maintain Food Pantry database, paperwork, and files Maintain open communication with guests, servers, and staff on all food orders Place food orders for pantry in concordance w/ budget and adhere to the budget for kitchen along with supervisors and managers Treat all guests and staff with respect and dignity Adhere to company and state guidelines when pouring drinks. Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays. Any other duties as assigned. Experience/Training/Education Requirements: Must be a minimum 21 years of age Highschool Diploma or GED Previous bartending experience a plus Previous customer service experience Basic math and cash handling experience Must be flexible, have a sense of urgency, be able to respond quickly and resourcefully to internal and external issues Working knowledge of food production techniques, purchasing, and sanitation procedures Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to take tasks that are not clearly defined and appropriately define problem, propose and implement solutions Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays License/Certificate: A valid food handler’s card is required for this position. The company will cover the cost of the training and compensate employees for the time spent completing the course. The certification must be obtained within 30 days of the hire date TIPS Certification Ability to: Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in positive motivation and teamwork Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to interact with all levels of customers and staff including management Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all staff and vendors. Be detail oriented Present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times during the workday Excellent organizational and planning skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer service orientation Must be energetic, self-disciplined with a strong sense of initiative, is detail oriented and has a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. Positive attitude and neat appearance Work ethics encourages strong urgency and quality in a team environment Physical and Environmental Requirements: Tasks are performed with moderate supervision without assistance for 40% of the workday; pushing and pulling doors open, lifting, stooping, bending and lifting at least 35 lbs. Walking for long distances for more than 50% of workday. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours. Employees may be scheduled to work until 12:00am or later.
