Job Title Business Systems Staff Analyst

The Business Systems Staff Analyst will collaborate with IT Labeling/UDI and Business Labeling leadership to continually review and refine the systems strategy that enables the organization to be as effective and optimized as possible.

The position will be responsible for capturing business requirements, initiating IT projects and enhancements, leading analysis and requirements-gathering efforts, and coordinating projects through all phases of the Project Management Life Cycle.

• Collaborates with IT Labeling/UDI and Business Labeling leadership to continually review and refine the systems strategy that enables the organization to be as effective and optimized as possible.

• Captures business requirements and initiates new IT projects and enhancements based on those requirements.

• Leads the analysis and requirement-gathering efforts related to the system by communicating clearly and concisely with both business and technical individuals.

• Coordinates projects of small to medium complexity from ideation through all phases of the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) initiation, planning, execution, and closing.

• Applies principles, concepts, and practices of IT Service Management (ITSM), PMLC, and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) .

• Proactively enforces worldwide and local security policies to ensure IT information assets are protected.

• Flexes to other tasks as problems or other opportunities arise.

• Experience supporting IT solutions and large IT projects .

• Experience integrating data and/or transactions between applications, including:

  • Data Modeling

  • Data Governance

  • Data Querying

• Experience preparing business requirements documentation .

• Experience with ITSM, PMLC, and SDLC concepts and practices.

• Ability to work successfully remotely/virtually and as part of a geographically distributed and organizationally diverse team.

• Ability to quickly adapt to changing organizational needs and business priorities.

• Demonstrated interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills.

• Appropriately shares viewpoints and encourages the free exchange of information and opinions across all levels of the organization.

One of the following educational and experience combinations is required:

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of relevant experience , or

• Associate's Degree and 10 years of relevant experience , or

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 12 years of relevant experience .

Additionally:

• At least 4 years of experience utilizing formal ITSM, PMLC, and SDLC processes and tools in an IT role .

• 10+ years of experience required.

• Experience supporting IT solutions and large IT projects.

• Experience integrating data and/or transactions between applications, including Data Modeling, Governance, and Data Querying.

• Experience preparing business requirements documentation.

• Experience with ITSM, PMLC, and SDLC concepts and practices.
