Step into a rewarding contract position supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This engaging opportunity begins in August 2026 and concludes in May 2027, offering you the chance to make a meaningful difference with pre-K children. Enjoy a flexible schedule of 25 hours per week, spread across 3-4 days, providing both variety and work-life balance.
Your expertise in school-based speech therapy will be put to excellent use as you help students develop vital communication skills necessary for success in their educational journey.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or eligible SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or SLP-CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) status
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings preferred
- Adept at supporting the unique developmental needs of pre-K students
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working within a multidisciplinary educational team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to pre-K children in a supportive school environment
- Develop and implement individualized education and therapy plans based on student needs
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to ensure comprehensive student support
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations
