Maintenance TechnicianA Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. A Maintenance Technician will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around the facility.This section describes the primary/essential responsibilities that this job performs.Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damageMaintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properlyApplying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problemsFixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuriesFabrication, welding, electrical, plumbingUnderstanding recycling principalsOperate various PIV sit-down center RyderDemonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.Follow all OSHA and Company established safety rules and Follow procedures.This section describes the secondary responsibilities that this job performs.Maintain reliable attendance.Actively participate in departmental meetings, training and education.
