The Project We are seeking an expert Oracle Database Architect and Consultant to perform a deep review and validation of client Oracle deployment and solutioning architecture. You will act as the authoritative Oracle subject matter expert, partnering with our engineering teams on design and deployment models within the Oracle ecosystem. This project requires intricate knowledge of database deployment, its internals and system dependencies in highly mission-critical production environments where Oracle is deployed along with critical monitoring and auditing solutions, such as IBM Guardium.


Key Technical Focus Areas: Database Deployment & Management : Architecting Oracle database deployment and seamless upgrades, including managing Oracle host security patches with minimal to zero downtime.

• Database Security: Defining and validating security requirements specific to highly regulated database environments.
• Database Performance: Providing deep insight into what affects database performance and how third-party solutions like IBM Guardium impact overall efficiency.

Who You Are:

• The Oracle Architecture Expert: You possess an intricate understanding of Oracle's underlying structure, including database internals, processes, and how they interact with monitoring solutions like IBM Guardium.
• The Backup/Recovery Strategist: You understand in depth the intricacies of database backup/recovery and the challenges for designing a solution to ensure minimal data loss in a highly transactional environment.
• Industry Expert: You bring in experience of defining architecture for mission-critical database environments for customers.
