Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department
Varied shift schedule, 12-hour shifts with varied start times, including 6 AM, 8 AM, 10 AM, 12 PM, 2 PM, and 6 PM.
This position is within a Level II Trauma Center that is also accredited as a STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Receiving Center. The emergency department features 5 pods with a total of 49 beds and maintains a maximum patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1. The facility handles approximately 68,000 annual visits.
Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on best practices and established protocols.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Manage emergency situations effectively, including trauma, STEMI, and stroke cases.
Current California RN license.
Minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience in a Level II trauma center or higher, including exposure to pediatrics, trauma, STEMI, and stroke cases.
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, and PALS.
Current TNCC certification required.
EPIC charting experience is essential.
ENPC certification is preferred.
Availability for holiday coverage as needed.
