Lead, Nuclear Medicine Technologist

This is a benefited, full time position (64 hours per pay period) generally working weekdays on an 8-hr shift schedule with start times ranging from 7-8am. Call is required after hours (4-8pm, about twice a week) and weekends (8am-8pm, about once or twice a month). Hours will vary as needed. Located at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla.

What you'll do: Functions as liaison between state and federal agencies for licensure, certification, and QA requirements for the entire radiology department. Responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements. Maintains all records as needed to verify that regulations are being maintained at all times. Responsible for charge reconciliation audits for procedures performed in Nuclear Medicine department. This position is eligible for up to $10k in New Hire Retention Incentives and relocation up to $3k if moving from 100+ miles away. Qualifications: Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting Excellent interpersonal skills Required Certification/Registration: CNMT RT-VEN BLS through the American Heart Association Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: 2 years' experience Knowledge of patient focused care delivery
