Job Title WBEN Technical Producer Department Programming Reporting To Brand Manager Employment Type Part‑Time Work Arrangement On‑site / Hybrid Job Summary WBEN News Radio 930 is seeking a Part‑time, technically‑savvy candidate to oversee all control‑room operations in a multi‑faceted LIVE audio environment. The anticipated starting salary range for New York‑based applicants is $16.00 per hour. Salary will be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal and external equity. Responsibilities Maintain Program and Commercial Log Operate Audio Control Board for Live, Satellite, Paid and Pre‑Recorded Programming Work with Show Hosts Record and Edit Audio Upload Audio and Post Information on Websites and Podcasts Transmit and Receive EAS Weekly and EAS Monthly Tests Monitor Broadcast Stations (6 total) and all building‑related emergencies; notify the Engineer on Call immediately if any problems are detected Qualifications Basic audio board operation skills and digital editing abilities; ability to multi‑task and adapt to change in a fast‑paced environment Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with live on‑air talent; problem solving and maintaining operation within mandated FCC guidelines Flexible schedule preferred Valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of motor vehicle record check, and proof of insurance if own vehicle is required Important Notes Audacy will never ask you to send money at any point during the hiring process.
