Make a real difference supporting students as a virtual Occupational Therapist working with schools near Homer, LA. This part-time, contract opportunity is open for immediate start, running for one to two months. You’ll collaborate with dedicated professionals, helping students across grade levels through essential re-evaluations and targeted PreK assessments. A core focus of this role is providing supervision for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), with continued supervisory needs even after the contract’s conclusion.

Key Requirements & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Louisiana (LA OT License required)
• Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy, especially with diverse age groups
• Strong background conducting re-evaluations and early childhood (PreK) assessments preferred
• Experience supervising or mentoring COTAs
• Comfortable working in a virtual/remote setting, with reliable technology and internet connection
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive OT re-evaluations across a range of grade levels remotely
• Conduct PreK evaluations, typically scheduled on Fridays
• Provide supervision, guidance, and support for a dedicated COTA
• Communicate effectively with school teams, families, and students to ensure optimal care
• Follow all professional, ethical, and state licensing guidelines
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation
