Accounting Support Specialist (Part-Time)

Location: Greenville, SC
Schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week | Flexible Schedule | Primarily Onsite

We're partnering with a well-established company in the Greenville area seeking a Part-Time Accounting Support Specialist to join their team. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position. Responsibilities:

• Perform and reconcile multiple bank accounts accurately and timely
• Research and resolve accounts receivable discrepancies and customer payment issues
• Assist with audit preparation by gathering documentation and supporting schedules
• Support the accounting team with various daily and monthly accounting functions
• Identify issues, troubleshoot discrepancies, and recommend solutions
• Maintain accurate financial records while ensuring attention to detail

Qualifications:

• Previous accounting experience required
• Experience performing multiple bank reconciliations
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and issue resolution
• Experience using Blackbaud a plus!
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
