Position Details

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Description

Join a dedicated team providing exceptional care in a dynamic hospital environment. We are seeking skilled nurses to support our medical-surgical unit, offering comprehensive patient care and managing various medical conditions.

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 30
Patient Ratios: 1:6
Unit Staffing: Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretary, PCTs, Case Management
Type of Equipment: Walkers, IV Pumps, Sequential Compression Devices (SCDs), etc.
Documentation System: Meditech

Scheduling Requirements

Must complete 4 weekend shifts within a 28-day schedule.
Participate in holiday rotation.
Floating policy applies.

Patient Experience Requirements

Achieve a patient experience rating of 72% by utilizing effective communication strategies, including communication boards.

Certifications & Skills

Required: RN License
Must Have: Teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and strong communication skills
Advanced Skills Needed: Medical-Surgical experience including management of respiratory diseases, renal disease, gastrointestinal illnesses, telemetry, central venous catheters, indwelling catheters, and heparin infusions.

Dress Code

Required uniform: Navy Blue Scrubs
