Maintenance Technician - MechanicRole Overview This Maintenance AEM (Automated Equipment Mechanic) position will work both independently and with other members of our maintenance and engineering teams to provide various types of support for equipment in our Battery Pilot and Manufacturing areas.Responsibilities:Provide multi-discipline capability to repair, maintain, install and make improvements to Mixing, coating, slitting and calendaring equipment (includes mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics)Work with other members of the engineering and operations team to resolve equipment issuesPerform alignment and adjustments as needed on production equipmentPerform preventive maintenance (PMs) on a wide variety of equipmentRequired Skills/Experience:Highly involved and motivated with a high level of mechanical / electrical troubleshooting skillsAbility to change focus based on prioritiesMechanical equipment repair training and/or demonstrated experienceAble to read and interpret mechanical/electrical machine drawingsControls / PLC experience a plusBridgeport mill, metal lathe and light fabrication experience is a plusSignificant walking or other means of mobilityAbility to work effectively with minimal supervisionMust have the ability to work individually and with a team as neededGood team player – willing to be flexible and work with maintenance trades as neededExcellent safety record – places safety and environment as top priority in all workKnowledge of Lock Out / Tag Out processMust be able to work in dark-room conditions if neededAble to work occasional overtimeAble to work in a standing position for an extended period of timeWear personal protective equipment as requiredGood communication skills for daily interaction with maintenance and operations staffWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and maintenance software tools.Must be able to work Monday-Friday either 5-8 hour or 4-10 hour day shifts.EOE Policy Statement: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.Estimated Salary: $32.00 - $45.00 Experience Level: 5-10 Years
