Food Service Worker I

The job of "Food Service Worker I" is done for the purpose of preparing and distributing food items for consumption by students and school personnel and maintaining facilities in sanitary condition.

Passing score on District Proficiency test; Fingerprint, T.B. clearance, and pre-employment physical are required before beginning work.

Ability to lift up to 60 pounds daily; maintain facilities in a sanitary condition; load/unload food items, supplies, and equipment; make deliveries in district vehicle; Ability to work outdoors in extreme hot and cold temperatures, medium to heavy lifting required; Ability to carry out oral and written directions; work cooperatively with those contacted during work.
