Role Overview The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct speech therapy rehabilitation to patients based on physician referrals, adhering to all relevant laws and standards. Key Responsibilities Assess, establish, and modify measurable, functional therapy goals Perform patient evaluations and develop treatment plans Utilize therapy software and document progress accurately and timely Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to meet patient needs Oversee and evaluate care provided by SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates (for certified SLPs) Follow federal and state guidelines for speech therapy practices Participate in community health projects as appropriate Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies and code of conduct Assist in patient evacuation when necessary Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited speech therapy program (MS or MA SLP) ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY; must maintain credentialing Active state licensure and CPR certification (or obtain during orientation) Preferred one year experience; new grads welcome Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication tools Strong decision‑making, body mechanics, and patient interaction skills Knowledge of post‑acute care regulations and safety procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective communication skills in English Essential Functions Develop and modify therapy goals, ensure proper documentation, follow treatment plans, demonstrate excellent customer service, and maintain dependable attendance.
