IT Systems Support Specialist II
$32 - $33 per hourW2 Contract- 1 year duration with possibility to convert perm Pay- $32.00-$33.00 per hour Hours - 8.5 hour shift between 7:00 and 5:30 / 40 hours per week. Shift depends on need and location **This is an in-field position that requires travel throughout the Magic Valley to multiple sites.**
- The chosen candidate will work inside healthcare/hospital environments. This may involve occasional patient contact.
- Must be customer service-oriented.
- Occasional overnight travel to locations outside the Wood River area may be required.
- Must have reliable transportation that can be used, as needed, during all shifts. Mileage reimbursement provided.
- Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience required. Under direct supervision, the End User Computing Specialist 2 provides accurate, timely, and creative solutions to end-user computer, telecom, and networking problems of moderate to complex nature to ensure end-user productivity. salary: $32 - $33 per hour
- Acts as a second level resolution resource, including recognizing, researching, isolating and resolving information systems issues, answering questions, providing advice, troubleshooting, and following-up to assist users in solving their technical computing issues.
- Performs restorative and maintenance actions either remotely or at the end users location to resolve problems.
- General maintenance and support of IT hardware and infrastructure.
- Recommends systems modifications to reduce user issues.
- Responds to situations where standard procedures have failed in isolating or fixing problem equipment or software installations, and configuration changes.
- Collaborates with Tier 2 support personnel (Engineering, Application, System Administrators, Infrastructure, etc.) for appropriate services, repairs, troubleshooting, training and follow-up.
- Maintains accurate information and data regarding end-user issues within the tracking system and according to policies and standards.
- Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
