- Performing comprehensive evaluations of patient health, ordering relevant diagnostics, and creating tailored care plans
- Diagnosing and treating a range of health conditions autonomously or alongside fellow medical professionals (per your credentials)
- Providing education to patients and their families on topics such as prevention, health maintenance, and chronic illness management
- Prescribing medications and treatment regimens within your scope of practice
- Engaging in chronic care management and follow-up care for patients
- Collaborating with diverse healthcare teams to ensure cohesive and holistic treatment
- Accurately documenting patient encounters in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
- Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Georgia
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)

- Proficient communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members
