Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP)
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $97.00 - $105.00

This facility is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

· Schedule: 12 hour, day shifts, 7 days per week. Mostly covering days.

· Practice Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient

· Type of cases and required procedures: Round daily on all floor level of care patients admitted to or seen in consultation on the general cardiology service line. Writing daily progress notes, event notes, admission H&Ps, new consult notes, and discharging. Ordering medications, testing, procedures when indicated.

Perform procedures in the ICU when indicated including: arterial line placement, central line placement, cardioversion.

· Credentialing timeframe: 60 days

· Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner

· Certifications required: Board certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support

· Licensure required: Active North Carolina license and Drug Enforcement Administration license.
