Job Description

Deliver advanced patient care and technical excellence in a dynamic breast imaging environment. This role specializes in performing high-quality mammography procedures using the latest imaging technology and adhering to the highest standards of safety and patient comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screening and diagnostic mammograms, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate interpretation.
• Adhere to established protocols, including patient preparation, positioning, and documentation.
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment, troubleshooting and calibrating as needed.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals for seamless patient care.
• Educate patients on the procedure and address questions or concerns to foster a supportive environment.
• Maintain detailed records and comply with regulatory standards (including ACR, MQSA, and state-specific guidelines).
• Prioritize infection control, radiation safety, and confidentiality at all times.

Schedule:

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT (Mammography) certification and state licensure as required.
• Experience in digital mammography and breast imaging.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance standards and imaging protocols.
• Excellent communication, patient care, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing technology and workflow environments.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in a dedicated breast imaging center.
• Proficiency with PACS and electronic health records.
