Store Worker (Part-Time) Job Number: 260002AT Primary Location: United States, Maryland, Annapolis Organization: Annapolis Job Description Performs various duties in connection with the stocking of shelves in an Exchange store or storeroom. Duties and Responsibilities Unpacks, segregates and stocks counter and/or shelves with merchandise in accordance with established instructions. May be required to move and stock merchandise within the storage area, as necessary. Price stamps merchandise. May operate a price tag machine. Assists in the conduct of periodic inventories by counting stock items remaining on shelves. Assists in keeping storage and sales area clean and orderly. May assist sales personnel in bagging and wrapping customer purchase. Works under the general supervision of designated supervisor, carrying out assignments with little review during progress of work. Specific instructions are provided on new and unfamiliar situations. Completed work is checked to see that instructions have been followed. Performs other related duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL EFFORT
Stands, walks and handles light and medium weight objects.WORKING CONDITIONS
Works indoors. Is exposed to drafts, noise, dust and dirt. May have to stand for long periods on concrete floors.TRAINING REQUIREMENT
Associate must receive Hazardous Material (HazMat) training within 90 days of hire per Department of Transportation regulations. Qualifications No experience is required. High School graduate or equivalent is preferred. Physical requirements: Stands, walks and handles light and medium weight objects.
