Strategic Account Mgr / Sales Engineer (Teradyne, San Jose, CA)

We are transforming the way the industry tests chipsets for datacenter applications. Opportunity Overview Teradyne has an opportunity for an experienced Global Account Manager. Do you possess a unique blend of Engineering background, Semiconductor and Datacenter industry experience, a strong desire to advocate for and support customers while influencing our company’s sales and product roadmap? This individual is not only seasoned at selling, but has significant ATE or production test related experience and excels in managing a customer team. You can work independently with little supervision and can also manage a customer team on a global basis. Both the company and customer see and rely on this person as an expert. Duties & Responsibilities * Advocate for and support the customer, while aligning to the objectives of Teradyne.

• Manage and grow the business for established and new customers.
• Create and implement sales strategy using strategic sales tools and

processes. * Manage all activities related to maintaining existing and gaining new market share and meeting sales quota: identify and qualify opportunities, manage the competitive sales process, align Teradyne product roadmaps, forecast, quote and book orders.

• Coordinate sales strategies worldwide for the assigned Customers.
• Develop relationships at all levels within the Customers’ organizations and

within Teradyne.

• Must be willing to travel 25+%.
• Must be able to carry auto liability or minimum insurance due to automotive

Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required * 8+ years of experience in capital equipment sales or marketing within the Semiconductor, Test & Measurement, Datacenter or a related industry. * Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or physics preferred or related field, or equivalent experience. MBA a plus.

• Proven ability to drive long sales cycle design-ins.

Compensation The base salary range for this role is $132,600-$212,200. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location. Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance. Sales Incentive Plan: This job is additionally eligible for participation in the organization’s sales incentive plan.
