Azure Cloud Applications Architect Refactor & Scale

Assist development teams in implementing applications using cloud application lifecycle management best practices. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using modern frameworks and libraries that are easily compatible with Azure cloud deployments. Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures using various Azure services and features. Provide technical guidance in designing, developing, and migrating cloud-native applications with a high skill set of Azure application hosting and serverless features. Focus on minimizing duplication of efforts across different development teams. Establish a standardized and repeatable cloud application design methodology. Specialize in refactoring, rearchitecting, and rebuilding applications! Collaborate with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure the quality and performance of application solutions. Basic Qualifications: At least 10 years of experience in software development using C#, Java, Python, or other languages and familiarity with frameworks such as.NET, ASP.NET, Node.js, Spring Boot, Flask, and Express At least 5 years of experience in developing and deploying cloud solutions using Azure services, such as Azure front door, Azure CosmosDB, and Storage Proficiency in using GitLab or other tools for source control, CI/CD, testing, and monitoring. Ability to automate the entire development lifecycle using pipelines, scripts, templates, and tools. Familiarity with cloud design patterns, best practices, and security principles with the ability to apply the appropriate design patterns and practices to optimize the performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of cloud application solutions. Experience in using Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure container instances, Docker Swarm, or other container technologies to create and manage containerized applications using orchestration tools and services. Relevant certifications, such as Azure Developer Associate, and/or Azure Solutions Architect Expert Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or applicants who are eligible for security clearances. B.S., Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications: Preferred experience in using Azure cognitive services, machine learning, or other AI/ML technologies a plus. Preferred experience with Machine Language and Generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT, others) Preferred experience with other cloud providers, AWS or GCP Preferred Secret clearance.
