Contracts Administrator

Job title: Contract administrator Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: 6+ Months Pay range: $30- $34/hr on W2 Job Description: Provide expert-level support to the contracts development team, leveraging over 11 years of experience to ensure seamless and efficient contract development processes. Independently review, draft, and negotiate contracts, including vendor agreements, client contracts, and other legal documents, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in contract law and legal terminology. Oversee the maintenance of comprehensive and organized records of contracts, amendments, and related documents, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements. Lead and conduct contract negotiations and amendments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), experience in Maximo or GEP software systems preferred. Duties will include the daily support of all sourcing & contracting activities "from cradle to grave," including advising customers and leading Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) preparation, leading pre-bid meetings, reviewing offers upon receipt from bidders, cost & price analysis, negotiations, risk assessment, preparing contract documents and agreements; assisting in contract administration, incorporation of changes, expediting & follow-up, disposition of claims, and contract closeout. Ensure all required terms and conditions are included in procurement documents and work with Legal, Risk Management and Accounting to resolve contractor exceptions and issues in a timely manner. Draft contract language, including special conditions for complex, non-standard purchases.
