Automotive Repair Estimator/Parts Coordinator - 4 Day work week- Mon.-Thurs. 7:45 - 4:45 Description: We are looking for an experienced, organized Automotive Repair Estimator to join our team. This position works closely with our technicians and service advisor to turn technician recommendations into accurate repair estimates, locate and order the correct parts, and help keep jobs moving efficiently through the shop. This is a key position in our shop and requires someone who understands automotive repairs, is comfortable working with computers and parts catalogs, and can manage several jobs at the same time without losing track of the details. Qualifications: Automotive repair industry knowledge is required. You should have a good understanding of the vehicle systems, repair terminology, and commonly performed automotive repairs. Automotive estimating, service advising, parts, or technician experience is strongly preferred. Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple repair orders and priorities at the same time. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn estimating, repair information, and electronic parts catalog systems. Good attention to detail - ordering the correct part the first time is important. Able to research and problem-solve. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently while also being a part of a team. Good communication skills with technicians, coworkers, vendors, and customers. Must be dependable and able to follow a job through to completion.
