Team Overview You’llsupport the HR Services leadership team and partner closely with Senior HR leaders, Centers of Excellence, and business leaders to deliver consistent,high-qualityHR support across assigned Home Office teams. In this role, you help translate HR strategy intoday-to-dayexecution,supporting performance management, associate relations, talent development, and engagement initiatives,while ensuring alignment with CarMax’s policies, culture, and business priorities. Role Responsibilities Build andmaintaineffective partnerships with leaders, managers, and associates across assigned departments. Provideday-to-day guidance on policy interpretation, performance management, associate relations, and talent development, exercising good judgement and addressing issues at root cause. Apply analysis and decision-making skills to evaluate HR data andidentifytrends. Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to execute compensation, benefits, talent, and associate relations processes. Support development programs to build bench strength and associate growth. Communicate clearly and professionally with leaders and associates. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degreeprefered 5+ years of HR or related experience, with strong analytical and project management skills Ability toinfluence leaders, prioritize competing responsibilities, and make decisions in ambiguous situations Strong communicationskills with the ability topresent data clearly and effectively ProficiencyinMicrosoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint Experience withWorkdayor comparable human capital management systems About CarMax At CarMax, we revolutionized the used car buying experience over 30 years ago by introducing transparency and integrity into the process.
