Yale New Haven Hospital Saint Raphael Campus is seeking an RN for a travel position in Telemetry. The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with three shifts per week for a total of 36 scheduled hours. The contract starts ASAP and lasts for 13 weeks, ending on November 27, 2026.

The job requires cardiac experience and the following certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. First-timers are accepted, and every other weekend is required. Float is needed, and a pending license is accepted. RTO greater than 7 days requires approval. Guaranteed hours are provided.

The hospital is a short-term acute care facility, a Level I Trauma Center with 1,567 staffed beds. The scrub color is royal blue, and the charting system is Epic. Parking costs $125 per month.

The job requires two years of experience, previous charge experience, and specific skills in BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care, heparin protocols, dysrhythmia interpretation, isolation precautions, IV insulin protocols, cardiac drips management, vasoactive drips management, dysrhythmias management, telemetry, oxygen administration, pacemakers, peripheral line care, PICC line management, post cardiac angiogram, post MI, pre/post cardiac cath, substance withdrawal, tracheostomy care, rapid response use, and wound care.

The unit provides interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics, with a daily census of 30.
