Our team brings over 425 years of combined experience and includes some of the most knowledgeable people in the industry.JOB SUMMARY:The sales and estimator manager position works closely with the Sales and Estimating team to ensure all bid invites get addressed and we approach each bid opportunity with the best strategy.DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Oversee the entire estimating department or function, reporting to VP of Sales and Estimating.Develop and enforce estimating standards, procedures, and templates.Establish cost databases and benchmarking tools.Strategize bidding approaches and finalize bid submissions.Review and approve estimates for high-profile or high-risk projects.Coordinate closely with executive leadership, business development, and operations.Lead preconstruction planning and client presentations.Supervise hiring, training, and performance evaluation of estimating staff.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.Able to lift up to 50lbs.Able to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and team members.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.A Sales mentalityWHAT WE OFFERAt PDHG you are not just an employee; you are an important member of our team.
