Inventory Specialist

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for providing various audits and data related to the inventory in our warehouse. Other processes within inventory such as, receiving, cycle counts and reporting, both internally and to management.Position ResponsibilitiesAssist unloading and receiving of productsAudits inbound and outbound loadsPerforms cycle counts and aisle audits, and identifies and corrects inventory discrepanciesReview and report external/internal errors, cycle count and correctinventory (mis-ships, overages, shortages)Looks into recurring issues to help determine root causeResponsible for return to stock process (found product)Execute quality hold processPerform other duties as assignedPerform all duties in a safe and timely mannerJob Qualifications - RequiredHigh School Diploma/GED equivalent requiredOperates material handling equipment(Sit down/stand up forklift etc.)PC Experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)Previous AS400 and/or warehouse management systems (WMS) experience preferredBasic math and reading skills necessaryAbility to troubleshoot and resolve work-related issuesDetailed oriented with the ability to perform multiple tasks in fast moving environmentAbility to follow oral and/or written instruction.Personal QualitiesStrong interpersonal skills, both verbal and writtenPositive approach in all interactionsTeam orientated and self-motivatedAbility to multi-task calmly and effectively in a rapidly changing environmentSolid organization skillsWillingness to learn new systems as neededWork EnvironmentThis role routinely uses RF handheld unit, standard computer, and warehouse material handling equipment.BenefitsCompetitive Salary based on experienceEntry Range $20-$22Medical, Dental, Vision, Short-term disability, Paid time off, AFLAC401k with company match #J-18808-Ljbffr Metraflex Company Inc
