You'll collaborate with various customer groups to enhance their security through digital transformation strategies. Leading customer conversations, you'll coordinate with internal teams and partners to maximize security opportunities.You will drive the day-to-day execution of Microsoft's strategic business priorities – selling best-in-class cloud services and platforms to our managed customers and building digital transformation momentum for our customers, partners, and Microsoft. Performs business analysis to pursue high-potential customers and manage the end-to-end Security business across the assigned territory by driving consumption and licensing transactions to grow business within assigned territory.Scaling and Collaboration: Collaborates on the planning, orchestration, and execution on Security opportunities with virtual teams made up of internal stakeholders and partners to cross-sell and up-sell.Industry Awareness: Initiates and leads Security conversations, shares best practices, key competitor knowledge and customer insights across solution areas to elevate team capabilities and make recommendations on pursuit or withdrawal.Sales Execution: Drives new sales and new customer engagements using innovative approaches, leveraging digital signals, partnership events, social selling (LinkedIn) and networking opportunities.Learning: Completes required training and obtain relevant security expertise and certifications aligned to the role.Embody our culture and valuesQualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 5+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR 6+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.Preferred Qualifications8+ years of technology-related security sales or account management experienceOR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years of technology-related sales or account management experienceOR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field AND 5+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience3+ years of security solution sales or consulting services sales experienceCore Competencies & Ways of WorkingCustomer and community focus — understanding real needs and delivering lasting social and business outcomes.Collaboration across boundaries — working fluidly across commercial, technical, policy, partner, and philanthropic teams.Growth mindset — learning continuously and adapting in a fast-moving, AI-powered environment.Inclusive leadership — creating environments where diverse perspectives thrive and opportunity expands.Bias for measurable impact — connecting daily work to outcomes for the people and communities we serve.Digital Solution Area Specialists IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $40.96 - $80.96 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $60.96 - $86.11 per hour.This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
